My brother decided to offer a special program “Free book”. This program is going to start working in Internet. To this my brother creates a website with his unusual offer to register books and then to leave them in public places, that other people find these books. At first people don’t understand why this is done, but gradually brother`s offer will be liked all of them more and more. Every day people register books more, leave enthusiastic comments about the idea in books tell unusual stories about finding of books with a mark «Free book» in public places. The first book, which is registered on a website, is the novel “Red and Black”. It turns out; this novel is read by twenty readers. I consider it is a great result for the beginning. Now the program “Free book” is in progress and has become very popular. It`s cool. I hope that through this program, people in this country began to read more and get experience through books. I would like one day to find a book with a note: “Free book! Take me home and read me!”
I guess people read books differently, I mean, their attitude to books is various: some have them just for passing time, letting the eyes run across the lines of a book, others read books with a pencil in hands marking the most important places and elicit good ideas out of them. The best kind of reading is to get the most out of a book. For this purpose it is recommended marking pages or lines of a book while reading it. It helps making our reading active and thoughtful. A reader will use the experience taken from the book in his/her life, for example, in words. It means that we should be active and free when reading a book. We should understand what we are reading. Of course, if a person chooses books for pleasure, he can read fast, and nothing is lost. However, if he reads a serious book, rich in ideas and beauty, and want to get answers to fundamental questions, marking books is absolutely necessary. Therefore a reader must be very active because reading a book means a conversation between him and the author. Be sure the author knows about the subject much more than a reader does. But it is not necessary to agree with the author. Readers’ opinion may be different, their agreements or disagreements depend only on them and nobody else. It is amazing to learn the main point of things in the world reading books. Nobody can tell us what to take out of the book we read – it is essential. A reader questions himself and finds answers in the book he reads. That is great! His free time is entirely his.
